Jay-Z clarifies Beyonce pregnancy rumours....Premium Times

Rapper, Jay Z, has denied reports of his wife, singer Beyonce's pregnancy. Last week, entertainment channel, E! "confirmed" through its website rumours of the songstress and mother of one's second pregnancy. E! based its report on information from undisclosed sources close to the singer.




Rumours of the probability of Beyonce carrying her second child had started when the singer, who is currently on an European tour, had cancelled an appearance in Belgium due to "exhaustion and dehydration."

The singer wrote a personal handwritten letter in which she apologised for disappointing her fans and stated that it was "first time she had ever had to cancel a show."

The internet was soon awash with rumours of a possible arrival of a sibling for Blue Ivy, first child of Beyonce and Jay Z.



A careful analysis of pictures taken during the tour and an appearance at the recent Met Gala in New York "revealed" the first signs of a "baby bump."

However, soon after E!'s big scoop, Beyonce took to her blog to publish a note in which she neither denied or confirmed the rumours but slammed the "lowlives talking about her."



"I can't stop the rumors from starting, and I can't really change peoples minds who believe them, all I can do is sit back and laugh at these low life people who have nothing better to do than talk about me," the note read.

On Monday, what seemed like a definite statement came via a radio host, Ebro Darden, the program director for New York radio station Hot 97, who claims that Jay Z emailed him saying, "It's not true. The news is worse than blogs."

Amidst the rumours and speculation, Beyonce has continued with her tour, appearing in form-fitting outfits that reveal a toned stomach and no baby bump.
