It’s paradise when I eat fufu – Muma Gee
Gift Uwame a.k.a. Muma Gee is our guest in this edition of Celebrity
Tummy Talk. She expresses her love for fufu and how best it should
be prepared. Enjoy it:
What’s your feeding habit like?
The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is to take a glass
of water. Then, I take some fruits.
Your choice of fruits?
I eat all fruits except Mango. I
try to eat a lot of vegetables too.
How is your daily eating habit?
I eat according to my desire
every day.
So what’s your favourite food?
Fufu which we call Ogbolo in my
native language. I like to take it
with a special soup from Rivers
State with lots of ngoro,
periwinkle and fresh fish.
Did you play pranks to get your
favourite food as a child?
I’m emotionally attached to fufu and so I grew up with it. At times,
my mum packaged some of it for me. I might keep fufu in the fridge
for a month, since I may not have the chance to eat it all the time.
It’s one special meal that makes me feel like I’m in paradise when I
eat it.
